The Uniswap Protocol is the largest decentralized trading and automated market making protocol (often called a DEX, “Decentralized Exchange”) on Ethereum. The Uniswap Labs team was a major contributor to the Uniswap Protocol and now focuses on building a suite of products to support the Uniswap ecosystem. Our team is one of the most impactful in crypto. We are based out of SoHo in New York City with the option to be partially or fully remote depending on the position.
Job Summary
What You'll Do
đź“ŤOwn projects end-to-end: scope requirements, design systems, implement solutions, and monitor them in production. đź“ŤWrite clean, well-tested Rust code and raise the bar through thoughtful code reviews. đź“ŤBuild and maintain infrastructure that keeps Unichain reliable, performant, and available 24/7. đź“ŤProactively identify gaps in our systems and propose practical solutions that move us forward. đź“ŤParticipate in on-call rotations to ensure chain stability and rapid incident response. đź“ŤWork cross-functionally to turn complex, ambiguous problems into clear technical plans.
What You'll Bring
📍5+ years of backend engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems. 📍Experience building and operating distributed systems or blockchain infrastructure. 📍Comfort with ambiguity: you can take an unclear problem, break it down, and deliver results. 📍Solid understanding of cloud architectures, system design, and debugging at scale. 📍Experience building systems from scratch (0→1) and iterating on them over time. 📍Genuine interest in Web3 and staying current with industry best practices.
