While the development of our GoArt project continues rapidly, we are starting a new AA PC/Console game. Our project, is going to be published by a large media organization. We have a team that has been working together for a long time, has a common climate and a development language. Job Summary
Your Role
📍As Head of Backend Development, you will: 📍Take full ownership of backend teams, structures, and engineering operations 📍Lead, mentor, and grow backend engineering teams with a strong people-first approach 📍Build a high-performance culture focused on quality, scalability, and delivery 📍Oversee technical execution, resource planning, and team capacity management 📍Ensure smooth backend operations, code quality, and architectural consistency 📍Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align backend strategy with business goals 📍Own and improve delivery KPIs such as velocity, stability, incident response, and team satisfaction 📍Drive backend team hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes 📍Represent backend engineering in leadership meetings and strategic planning
What We’re Looking For
📍 15+ years of professional experience in backend software development (preferably in .NET technologies) 📍5+ years of leadership experience managing backend engineering teams at scale 📍High Learning Agility capacity, 📍Deep understanding of backend architectures, including microservices, APIs, and distributed systems 📍Prior experience in the banking or fintech industry is strongly preferred 📍Excellent people management, coaching, and organizational design capabilities 📍Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and engineering delivery frameworks 📍Ability to balance technical depth with operational and people leadership 📍Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal 📍Proven success in managing backend operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments
