Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Lead the activities of risk management research, including developing new risk management approaches, analytical models and deep analyses 📍Lead the calculation, analysis, and reporting of net asset values/Profit & Loss for asset management funds and proprietary trading funds. 📍Prepare the company for a more regulated cryptocurrency environment with tougher rules 📍Review and reconcile daily trade and cash ledgers. 📍Actively manage the firm’s risk exposures through working closely with multiple trading teams internally and communicating closely with external exchanges/financial institutions
Requirements
📍5 years+ of experience as a risk management or a portfolio management role 📍Detailed understanding of equities risk management, portfolio construction and trading 📍Expert knowledge of quantitative finance and statistical programming with familiarity with SQL and Python 📍Intellectual curiosity and depth of skills enabling him/her to perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects, strong problem solving and analytical mindset 📍Ability to lead a team and work cooperatively with all levels of staff 📍Ability to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders up, down and across the organization. 📍Ability to generate creative ideas, solve problems, and take ideas all the way to commercial implementation 📍 A commitment to the highest ethical standards and to act with professionalism and integrity
