Job Summary
The opportunity
šCollaborate with stakeholders and Brand Design teammates to concept, design, and art-direct brand assets that elevate our product stories. šContribute to the development and maintenance of Krakenās visual identity (and its sub-brands) and brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and cohesion across our product ecosystem and all brand communications. šCreate high-quality, distinctive design across digital, animation and graphic design; from big campaign ideas to meticulous execution. šTake concepts from insights and research through exploration, concepting, and final delivery, owning your work end-to-end. šTranslate complex ideas (crypto, trading, investing, staking) into clear, compelling visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. šActively participate in design reviews; giving and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedback. šContribute to a strong, inclusive, and creatively ambitious design team culture. šPartner closely with marketing, growth, product, and internal teams to deliver cohesive, cross-functional creative. šTake full accountability for the details of your work - from typography and layout to production readiness. šExplore emerging design tools, including AI, and trends to keep Krakenās brand bold, future-facing, and differentiated.
Skills you should HODL
šSignificant experience as a brand designer / art director (agency, in-house, or startup), working with multiple teams on a variety of projects. šA strong portfolio showcasing detail-oriented design work, clear visual systems, and strategic, provocative creative thinking. šMastery of core graphic design fundamentals: typography, color, layout, hierarchy, and composition. šDemonstrated ability to craft and communicate a visual story: from high-level concept through to final design and presentation. šMastery of Figma and Adobe design tools.
