Polkadot Gains Native USDC Access via Coinbase

New connectivity enhances stablecoin accessibility across the Polkadot ecosystem

Zug, Switzerland – December 15, 2025 – Polkadot today announced support for USDC deposits and withdrawals directly from Coinbase, strengthening Polkadot’s stablecoin infrastructure and making it easier for users to access the network using one of the world’s most widely adopted digital currencies.

By enabling direct USDC transfers from Coinbase, Polkadot offers users a simple, reliable on- and off-ramp into its ecosystem, supporting everyday use cases across DeFi, payments, and cross-chain applications. USDC on Polkadot benefits from low, predictable transaction fees, fast finality, and the ability to pay fees in USDC, reducing friction for users and devs.

With north of $150M in issuance of USDC across the Polkadot Network, we expect this integration to ignite further activity through greater access from U.S customers via Coinbase, the leading platform for Web3 in the region.
