The Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Engineering And Technology of the Developing World (AETDEW) and AB Charity Foundation x AB DAO was signed at the AETDEW Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on 22 November 2025. The MoU was signed by AETDEW President Ir. Ts. Choo Kok Beng and a representative of AB Charity Foundation x AB DAO, and witnessed by AETDEW Executive Director Dr. Ir. Ts. Wong Chee Fui and Dr. Moneef R. Zou’bi, Senior Advisor to AB Charity Foundation.
Guests attending the signing ceremony also included AETDEW Honorary Fellow and Past President Academician Dato Ir. Lee Yee Cheong, AETDEW Treasurer Mr. Lawrence Tan, and AETDEW Executive Secretary Dr. Yap Kian Lian.
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks the beginning of collaboration between AETDEW and AB Charity Foundation x AB DAO in advancing engineering and technological development, smart grid technologies, and renewable energy systems, with the aim of jointly addressing the energy challenges faced by developing countries.
